Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior

Ii years later the events ofMad Max, Max is yet using the V8 Interceptor as his primary vehicle.The vehicle was modified in order to become better suited for traversing the arid wastelands.

• Two massive fuel tanks were added to let the machine to travel greater distances. The boot door has been removed in order to adjust them. (This led to the machine losing i of its spoilers.) Max also had to add a new fuel estimate.
• The front end bumper was removed to allow the vehicle to travel off route with less hindrance.
• The passenger seat was removed, and a custom seat for Max'southward canis familiaris was installed on the passenger door.
• Max rigged the tanks to explode via booby trap subconscious nether the car.
• Max had several weapons subconscious within (and even outside) the car.

Lowndes - who debuted in the category full-time in 1996 - has been on the verge of cracking triple figures since Tasmania in March, and today accomplished the amazing feat that further cements him as a nifty of the sport.

The Red Balderdash racer adds 100 wins to an illustrious list of results, including three Championship wins, five Bathurst wins and top five finishes in the Championship for the past 10 consecutive years.

Funnily enough, today's race was number 888 in the Title!

Mad Max

The V8 Interceptor is first seen in the MFP vehicle garage.  The mechanic, Barry, and Goose utilize the interceptor to attempt to convince Max to remain on the forcefulness.  Unlike most other MFP vehicles which are xanthous and have roof-mounted police lights, the Interceptor is entirely black, relieve for a few gold MFP decals.  According to Barry, the Interceptor has a dual overhead cam engine, and thanks to the blower, makes 600 horsepower at the wheels.

After Max's family is killed by Toecutter 's gang, Max retrieves the Interceptor and uses it to track downwardly and eliminate members of Toecutter's gang and Toecutter himself, too as Johnny the boy.  Max then drives off into the wasteland.

vi May 2014 - Approximately 5 months belatedly the 2013 Scalextric V8 Supercars have arrived and are available for sale at your local toy/hobby/slot shop & besides on Ebay.

Looking at the pics, C3470 #5 Pepsi Max Ford Performance Racing FG Falcon driven by Marking Winterbottom looks Crawly.

But in regards to C3471 #1 Red Bull Racing Aust. VF Holden Commodore driven  past Jamie Whincup i am dissappointed. Most of us knew Southern Model Supplies/ Scalextric were using the VE torso & chassis but itlooks similar they fabricated no attempt to at least make information technology wait more like a VF Commodore....ie front end l ights, rear lights and the rear fly to mention a few.

Since 2003, Southern Model Supplies/Scalextric have always put in the effort to replicate the real V8 Supercars but this is the 1st fourth dimension they have not i was hoping the 5 month delay had something to practice with change . . . . .i was incorrect :-(
